You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $34.70 - $35.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of stations, platforms, vehicle areas, facilities, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access or security-related concerns.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
