Position Details

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime – Fri 03:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM – 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and observe for any potential issues.
• Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual activity within the retail environment.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and/or vendors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding security‑related protocols.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and adhere to all Allied Universal policies and procedures while on duty.
• Carry and maintain responsibility for assigned firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
