As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate store personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, and document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and location procedures.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and maintaining an orderly customer environment during routine operations, busy periods, and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
