Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Armed Patrol) in Atlanta, GA. You will protect financial institutions, patrol facilities, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role supports a flexible schedule via our shift-claim platform and requires professionalism in security operations. Minimum qualifications include multi-year security experience, high school diploma, and preferred CPR and armed license.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Five or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and potential concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess five or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
