Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Guard Armed Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver to deliver reliable security services at a financial institution. The role offers fixed shifts, part-time hours, and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $24.16 per hour. The position provides early morning shifts on Wednesdays and Fridays, with a six-month anchor shift commitment and the possibility to grow into a full-time schedule up to 40 hours

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Pepper spray and CPR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, exterior perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Pay Rate: $24.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Possess 5 or more years of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
