Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced for part-time, flexible hours in Atlanta, GA. This role offers anchor shifts at a designated site with the option to pick‑up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Responsibilities include customer service, patrolling, incident response, and detailed reporting to support safe, secure operations at the site.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity to help maintain orderly operations at the location.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and other security‑related activities in accordance with site requirements.

Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
