Job summary

A leading senior living community in Solomons, Maryland is seeking a PRN Security Officer to ensure safety. Responsibilities include making campus patrols, responding to emergencies, and addressing security issues proactively. A high school diploma and First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications are required, along with a valid driver's license. The position offers a pay rate of $17.50/hour with various shifts including weekends and holidays. This role provides a supportive environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Make vehicle and foot patrols of entire campus.
• Respond to resident and building emergencies immediately.
• Address safety and security issues proactively.
• Lock and unlock doors at scheduled times.
• Operate assigned vehicle safely and professionally.

Schedule and Compensation

• PRN - substitute/as needed
• 645am-315pm, 230pm-11pmor 11pm-730am; including weekends and holidays.
• $17.50/hour

Job Description

• Routinely makes vehicle and foot patrols of entire campus.
• Immediately responds to resident, associate, and building emergencies, acting as a liaison for emergency services.
• Proactively addresses safety and security issues.
• Locks and unlocks appropriate doors at scheduled times.
• Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and professional manner at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
