Job Title:

Security Guard

General Summary

Maintain activities that safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property. This position involves working weekends when scheduled.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicate with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
• Gather information
• Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
• Make decisions and solve problems
• Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others
• Follow organizational security activities
• Implement organizational policies and process changes
• Prepare reports related to security matters
• Possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license
• Perform interior and exterior patrols (including stairs)
• Work for extended periods outdoors
• Adhere to all safety requirements
• Support company IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures
• Work within a team environment
• Work overtime as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities / Education & Experience

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military background of at least 2 years and a High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Highly motivated, service-oriented, team player with attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
