Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a Security Guard for a full-time position in Hillsboro, OR. The role covers patrols, access control, and quick response to incidents to keep employees and visitors safe. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and strong communication skills.

You will work with security equipment, monitor cameras, and follow procedures to protect client assets. We offer comprehensive benefits and paid training as part of joining our team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Wage: $22.00/HR

Schedules

• Thursday - Monday 12am-8am
• Wednesday - Sunday 11pm-7am
• Friday - Sunday 4pm-12am, Tuesday - Wednesday 12am-8am

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision‑making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
