Securitas USA is seeking a Security Control Room Officer for a full-time role at Hillsboro, OR. The position focuses on protecting people, property, and assets through vigilant monitoring, access control, and rapid emergency response across client sites.

Shifts include Wed–Sat 6am-2pm and other schedules, with a wage of $22.00/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Above-average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure and vigilant during shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced call center / emergency center environment.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.

• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Wage: $22.00/HR

Schedules

• Saturday - Tuesday 10pm-6am
• Wednesday - Saturday 6am-2pm
• Flexible / Multiple shifts available at various client sites

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
