Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Control Room Officer for a full-time position at our Hillsboro area client site. The role involves monitoring access, patrolling facilities, and responding to emergencies to keep employees and visitors safe.

You will work with surveillance systems, alarms, and security protocols while delivering excellent customer service. The position requires independent work, strong observation skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced call center / emergency center environment.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Security Control Room Officer — Full Time

Site Location: Hillsboro, OR

Wage: $22.00/HR

Schedules

• Saturday - Tuesday 10pm-6am
• Wednesday - Saturday 6am-2pm
• Flexible / Multiple shifts available at various client sites

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
