Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a vigilant security professional to monitor all persons and vehicles entering or leaving the facility at Beaver Brook Apartments in Delaware. You will direct traffic, maintain logs, and coordinate with staff during admissions and deliveries.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in security, corrections, or military, plus CPR and de-escalation training. You will interact professionally with staff and residents and report suspicious activity to

Responsibilities

• Assist, direct and monitor all persons entering and leaving the facility property.
• Keep accurate log books, as required.
• Direct emergency personnel arriving on facility property and maintain flow of traffic during emergencies, such as fire drills.
• Communicate incoming admissions, visits and deliveries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor parking area to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place, monitor lobby area and do frequent sweeps of the entire facility.
• Interact with staff and patients in a professional manner at all times.
• Report any suspicious behavior to the CEO, supervisor or a member of leadership.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Valid state driver's license.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.
