Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a part-time Security Officer for the 2nd shift (3 days a week) to monitor all persons and vehicles entering or leaving the facility. The role requires vigilance, clear communication and professional interaction with staff and patients.

Responsibilities include logging activities, directing emergency responders, supervising traffic flow during drills, and reporting suspicious behavior to leadership. A high school diploma and security experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years’ experience in security, corrections or military.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years’ experience in security, corrections or military.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Valid state driver's license.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.
