Job summary

Cove Forge is seeking an experienced individual responsible for monitoring all persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving our facility property. Salary starts at $15.00/hour with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including 401K + Matching, paid holidays and PTO, plus shift differentials for 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years’ experience in security, corrections or military.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.
• Basic computer knowledge for emails/charting.
• Acceptable driver's license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist, direct and monitor all persons entering and leaving the facility property.
• Keep accurate log books, as required.
• Direct emergency personnel arriving on facility property and maintain flow of traffic during emergencies, such as fire drills.
• Communicate incoming admissions, visits and deliveries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor parking area to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place, monitor lobby area and do frequent sweeps of the entire facility.
• Interact with staff and patients in a professional manner at all times.
• Report any suspicious behavior to the CEO, supervisor or a member of leadership.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Two or more years’ experience in security

Licenses/Designations/Certifications

• Valid state driver's license.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.
