Job summary

Straight Edge Technology is seeking a System Administrator to join a security-focused MSP with a framework for processes and professional growth. You will build, maintain, and troubleshoot client infrastructure, delivering high-availability systems and secure networks.

Expect a dynamic team, strong collaboration, and opportunities to contribute innovative ideas. The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, 2nd/3rd line support, and close alignment with engineering and service teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with monitoring systems and automation software.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and IT infrastructure best practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze problems from a systems perspective and drive resolution.
• Provide IT support for Microsoft core apps, Azure, and Hyper-V environments.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and system management tools.
• Ensure high availability, security, and disaster recovery planning.
• Travel to client sites as needed (company vehicle provided).
• Communicate effectively with customers and the Service Team; participate in team meetings.
