Straight Edge Technology, Inc. in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Systems Engineer who is proactive, collaborative, and tech‑savvy. You will build out, maintain, and troubleshoot client infrastructure, delivering high availability and security.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or 5+ years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of PC operations and functions.
• Experience with monitoring systems and automation software.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization technologies (Hyper‑V, Azure Virtual Desktop).

Responsibilities

• Analyzes problems from a systems perspective and resolves hardware or software issues.
• Provides IT support for Microsoft 365, Azure, and Hyper‑V environments.
• Supports Windows Server, Azure, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint and related Microsoft technologies.
• Implements and supports disaster recovery solutions.
• Manages network infrastructure: WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, and security.
• Configures and supports remote access: VPN, RDP, Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Documents systems and recommendations; travels to client sites as needed.
