Job summary

Straight Edge Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to build out, maintain, and troubleshoot client infrastructure. You will join a skilled team delivering mission-critical systems with strong uptime and security focus.

The role requires a BS in CS/Engineering or 5+ years of equivalent experience, deep Windows Server/Azure/M365 knowledge, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Company vehicle provided for on-site travel, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or 5+ years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge of PC operations.
• Experience with monitoring systems and automation software.
• Experience with firewall, Azure, Office 365, SQL, Windows Server.

Responsibilities

• Analyze problems from a systems perspective and resolve hardware or software issues.
• Provide IT support for Microsoft apps, Azure, Office 365 and virtual environments (Hyper‑V).
• Support Windows Server, Azure, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
• Implement and support disaster recovery solutions.
• Maintain network security: WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, and remote access.
• Create system documentation and reviews; travel to client sites as needed.
