Job summary

Amazon Leo Trust Services team owns the creation and operation of services to protect customer data and Leo devices. It secures our satellite security platform and drives cryptographic controls across PKI, HSMs, and encryption.

You will work with product and engineering teams to advance security across Java, Rust, Go, and cloud-native environments, balancing risk with rapid innovation for customer data protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years delivering security software in a production environment.
• 3+ years developing distributed software in Java, Rust, Go/Lang or C/C++.
• 3+ years experience in working with cloud-native environments.
• Experience with PKI (public key infrastructure), HSMs (Hardware Security Modules), Encryption, Cryptography, Key Management, Secure Boot, or Secure Device Provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Define security priorities with business leaders and act as a trusted advisor.
• Support product leaders by providing direction that makes security easy and effective.
• Guide teams toward outcomes that securely protect customer data.
• Assess technical debt and risk and propose secure-by-default solutions.
• Advocate for new testing tools and detection mechanisms.
• Propose a security vision for the business that protects customers.
