Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Reception in Dallas, TX. This role offers fixed shifts with additional pick-up options to increase earnings and build security experience on a flexible, part-time basis.

You will manage front desk operations, verify visitor identities, operate access controls, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner, always upholding safety and security policies.

Qualifications

• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, talent, vendors, and guests at a busy front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Manage visitor access by verifying identification, following site-specific entry procedures, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor front desk activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications for security-related concerns, escalating issues according to site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting security-related procedures at the location.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Reception in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Friday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ('Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
