Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX. This position offers flexible hours with reliable base shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service while enforcing site policies and performing security vehicle patrols at an aerospace/defense location. A valid driver's license and relevant security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor conditions and report hazards; complete incident reports and logs.
• Assist access-control by verifying credentials and guiding visitors.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, facility hazards, and security-related concerns; complete clear and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Support access‑control procedures by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and following established entry and exit protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
