Job summary

Allied Universal in Southlake, TX is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Response to provide reliable hours at a designated site. The role offers part-time shifts, with earnings based on a $19.66 per hour rate and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will perform security procedures, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain a professional environment by following site and client protocols.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and completing required reports.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client site protocols.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Response in Southlake, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.66 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
