Job summary

Leidos is advancing mission-critical platforms and seeking a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer to build, automate, and sustain delivery infrastructure. You will design automated CI/CD pipelines, harden Kubernetes environments, and automate security compliance across cloud and air-gapped contexts.

The role emphasizes security-first software delivery, AI-assisted pipeline acceleration, and collaboration with software and systems teams to embed security from the start.

Qualifications

• Must hold Secret security clearance and 4+ years of DevSecOps/DevOps experience.
• Hands-on design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred).
• Kubernetes administration and hardening in DoD/compliance-driven environments.
• Experience implementing DISA STIG in containerized/Linux environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform; Helm chart authoring and deployment management.
• Scripting in Python or Bash; automated security scanning and SBOM/CVE triage.
• Background contributing to feature development with security-first focus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines across development, security, and deployment stages.
• Build and maintain hardened Kubernetes environments aligned to DISA STIG requirements.
• Automate security artifact generation including SBOM production and CVE scanning.
• Drive IaC, GitOps practices, and controls-as-code across the team.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate pipelines, remediation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, systems engineers, and ISSEs to embed security from the start.
• Support ATO processes through automated evidence and documentation as code.
