Job summary

Doyle Security Systems is hiring an Installation Technician in Syracuse, NY to install and commission security and fire alarm systems in residential and commercial settings. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and room for growth.

Responsibilities include wiring, device installation, system programming, testing, and educating customers on operation while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Travel within the Syracuse region is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of low-voltage installation experience preferred (trainees considered).
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Experience installing security, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, or intercom systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and wiring.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• OSHA 10 and/or NICET certification a plus.
• Willingness to travel locally within the Syracuse region.

We are currently hiring for an Installation Technician in our Syracuse, NY branch.$20-$27/hour, based on experience
Key responsibilities:
