Job summary

Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Security Field Training Officer to train newly hired officers and supervise during onboarding. The FTO also assists the Security Training Manager in ongoing program delivery and training records management.

The FTO will conduct 30-, 60-, and 80-day assessments, provide remedial training, ensure appearance and policy compliance, and perform duties as a Security Officer when not training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English clearly to ascertain and document important information, to follow written and/or verbal instructions, and to communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver training to develop newly hired Security team members.
• Assist in ongoing training of all security team members.
• Maintain Individual Training Records.
• Complete documentation related to trainee performance and submit to the Security Shift Manager on Duty.
• Enforce security policies and procedures and ensure appearance standards.
• Conduct 30-, 60-, and 80-day assessments of new hires and provide remedial training as needed.
• Record training hours and report to Security Training Manager.
