Job summary

The Salvation Army - Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Phoenix is seeking a Part Time/Non-Exempt Building & Security Lead. You will supervise security attendants, set schedules, monitor timesheets, and assist the Facilities Director with evaluations and hiring.

Overnight shifts may be required, and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least three years in security or facilities, with strong communication skills and a service

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years in security, facilities, or related field required.
• Experience leading or supervising staff preferred.
• Ability to train and direct daily work.
• Organize schedules and coordinate shift coverage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Service-oriented with positive attitude toward staff and public.
• Must be 18+ and pass a background check.
• Overnights and mandatory events may be required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; first aid/CPR and guard card requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Building & Security Attendants and assign work based on needs.
• Coordinate staffing and shift coverage to maintain staffing levels.
• Set and communicate security team schedule and review timesheets.
• Facilitate security team meetings and training sessions.
• Assist Facilities Director with performance reviews and hiring.
• Oversee access control, cameras, and incident reporting as needed.
• Maintain logs, review camera footage, and report irregularities.
• Provide courteous, professional interactions with staff and clients.
• Support overnight operations and document issues promptly.
