Job summary

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center – Phoenix is seeking a Building & Security Lead to supervise Attendants, coordinate shifts, and support the Facilities Director with hiring and evaluations.

You will oversee daily security operations, review timesheets in UKG, and conduct regular training while maintaining a courteous, safety-first environment for staff and guests. You will also monitor cameras, respond to incidents, and manage events including overnight coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years of experience in security, facilities maintenance, or related field.
• Experience leading or supervising others preferred.
• Ability to train staff and provide day-to-day direction.
• Organized with strong multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision to Building & Security Attendants and prioritize work based on needs.
• Coordinate staffing and shift coverage and maintain staffing levels.
• Set and communicate the security team schedule and approve timesheets in UKG.
• Facilitate security team meetings and training.
• Assist Facilities Director with performance reviews and hiring.
