Canonical Ltd. invites an experienced Security Engineering Manager to lead the AppArmor-focused security team. You will guide engineers, foster growth, and drive security initiatives across Ubuntu's ecosystem.

You will coordinate with multiple engineering groups and customers, ensuring disciplined delivery and robust security practices while influencing strategy and roadmap at the leadership level.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills in English; ability to articulate complex concepts.
• Background in security engineering and open source ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers from graduate to senior levels.
• Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback.
