Job summary

Georgia Ports Authority is seeking an Information Security Engineer to develop and implement security standards, install and troubleshoot GPA’s cyber security infrastructure, and ensure staff compliance with security policies. The role reports to the Director of IT - Engineering and focuses on firewall administration, AD maintenance, and secure network design.

Responsibilities include configuring security systems, maintaining hybrid Exchange environments, and documenting security practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with firewalls, data security systems and Windows OS.
• Experience with AD design/configuration and policy administration.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure, audit, monitor and support network firewalls.
• Engineer, implement and monitor cyber security measures to prevent and detect breaches.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft Exchange/Outlook hybrid email systems.
• Maintain Active Directory and Entra ID; manage Domain Controllers.
