Job summary

AGS in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Engineer to own secure configuration, hardening, and ongoing operation of the security control set. You will ensure policy and standards match configurations, drive remediation of drift, and maintain health of security platforms across on‑prem and cloud environments.

This hands-on role partners with Infrastructure, Network, Enterprise Apps, and Business Systems teams, with occasional US travel.

Qualifications

• Secure configuration and hardening across Windows and Linux systems using CIS/ vendor baselines.
• Provide alignment between policy and live configurations; remediate drift.
• Identify and remediate misconfigurations across infrastructure and security tooling.
• Enforce device baseline hardening and compliance via enterprise tooling.
• Support vulnerability remediation with patches and compensating controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead system and platform hardening using CIS benchmarks and vendor baselines.
• Validate configurations align with security policy and standards; fix drift.
• Document, remediate misconfigurations across infrastructure and security tooling.
• Implement and monitor configuration drift detection; drive corrective action.
• Administer day-to-day operations of security platforms: endpoint protection, email security, access control.
