Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America and protect critical manufacturing systems. We are seeking a Security Engineer to own end-to-end security across the stack, from code to factory-floor OT, and to scale protections through automation and intelligent guardrails.

You will tackle unfamiliar systems, drive compliance into engineering for ITAR/NIST, and rapidly respond to incidents with lasting mitigations that strengthen our security posture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security engineering or related field.
• Hands-on ownership of security initiatives.
• Fluency with agentic systems and automation.
• Ability to learn quickly in ambiguous environments.
• Experience with manufacturing or OT security is a plus.
• Familiarity with ITAR/EAR and CUI handling.

Responsibilities

• Own security end-to-end across the full stack — application code, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes workloads, identity and authorization, and OT systems.
• Scale security through automation with AI-driven checks, guardrails, and self-enforcing patterns.
• Dig into unfamiliar systems and map how they work to identify real risks and design suitable controls.
• Turn compliance into engineering by building practical ITAR/NIST 800-171 foundations that survive audits.
• Respond to incidents, contain, resolve, and implement systemic fixes for stronger defaults.
