Job summary

Syndesus, Inc. is hiring the first dedicated security engineer to own the security posture across the stack, reporting to a co-founder.

You will embed with engineering, shape the security program, and drive compliance efforts from design through deployment. You should have 5+ years of security engineering experience, hands-on Go and Python, and a track record in threat modeling, incident response, and vulnerability remediation.

Qualifications

• Deep security engineering expertise with 5+ years in the field.
• Hands-on production Go and Python development experience.
• Experience with secure design, code review, and in-product vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Own our security posture end to end across the stack.
• Build foundational security systems from scratch (secrets, PKI, audit logs, vulnerability management).
• Lead security reviews, threat modeling, and secure design consultations.
