Job summary
The Carlyle Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Security Engineer to strengthen how Carlyle secures its adoption of AI. This hands-on role focuses on AI platforms, identity, networking, and logging, implementing robust security controls across their lifecycle and driving automation as the firm evolves its technology footprint.
The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of security engineering experience, with hands-on work securing platforms and AI/tool integrations, plus strong scripting and API
Qualifications
- Concentration in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications in security engineering, cloud security, identity, or AI/ML security preferred.
Responsibilities
- Secure and operate AI gateway and integrations with guardrails and monitoring.
- Build automation using supported APIs to reduce manual security operations.
- Design logging/telemetry pipelines and integrate with SIEM for monitoring.
