We’re looking for a pragmatic, security‑minded architect who can help us evaluate, integrate, and operationalize AI‑enabled services across our environment. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, cloud architecture, security, and emerging AI capabilities.

You’ll assess the tools we have, the tools we’re buying, and how they fit together. You’ll design secure integration patterns, guide engineering teams, and help us mature our AI adoption from early experimentation to scalable, well‑governed platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate existing and incoming AI‑enabled tools, platforms, and vendor solutions
• Determine how new services integrate into our current environment and workflows
• Design secure, scalable integration patterns using APIs, eventing, and async workflows
• Partner with engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into broader systems

Security & Governance

• Apply strong IAM and security engineering principles (least privilege, workload identity, secrets management)
• Help establish guardrails and operational controls for AI‑enabled services
• Support the evolution from loosely governed experimentation to scalable, secure adoption

Engineering & Infrastructure Foundations

• Use solid software engineering fundamentals (Python preferred) to prototype integrations and validate patterns
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, environment separation, and versioning strategies
• Leverage cloud infrastructure and IaC tools (Terraform) to operationalize services
• Integrate with third‑party SaaS and cloud APIs in a secure, maintainable way

Core Skills requirements

• Strong or moderate software engineering background (Python)
• Experience designing and integrating APIs (REST, OAuth/OIDC, async workflows)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and environment management
• Cloud infrastructure experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
