Job summary

Erickson Senior Living Highland Springs is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Assistant Supervisor to lead safety operations at our continuing care retirement community. The role includes enforcing regulations, overseeing incident reporting, and providing leadership to the security team in Highland Springs, Texas.

You will supervise patrols, gatehouse staffing, visitor screening, and daily shift reports, while coaching and guiding the team to uphold safety practices and regulatory

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in public safety supervisory (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience.
• Current and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property, staffing of the gatehouse, and responds to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce parking and traffic regulations.
• Ensure the completion of daily shift reports and incident reports (regarding medical response, theft of property, accidents, fires, serious mechanical malfunctions, emergency responses, violations of rules and regulations).
• Screen visitors, vendors, etc. at the gatehouse.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Assist in training, coaching, and counseling of employees; Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct & indirect reports; Monitor team throughout the day and reinforces safety practices.
