Job summary

Greenspring Village at Erickson Senior Living in Springfield, VA seeks a Security & Emergency Services (SES) Officer to keep our vibrant senior living community safe and welcoming. You’ll patrol the 60-acre campus, greet guests at the gate, and respond to non-emergency needs, providing a friendly, trusted presence residents rely on.

After 45 days, you’ll join the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) program, playing a key role in supporting residents’ health and well‑being.

Qualifications

• Experience in security preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Participate in interior and exterior patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Conduct safety checks in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance.
• Receive non-emergency calls from dispatch and respond timely.
• Assist with community emergencies (fires, floods, severe weather, etc.).
• Screen vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community.
• Document visitors and vendors and issue parking passes.
