Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Supervisor of Security and Emergency Services to lead a dedicated team ensuring resident safety and smooth security operations at our gated retirement community.

You will oversee gatehouse, patrols, access control, incident reporting and emergency preparedness planning, while coaching staff and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. This is a full-time overnight role with competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public safety supervisory (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Emergency Responder role.
• Current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Secure the community through gatehouse, patrols, access control, visitor/contractor registration, key management and other programs.
• Monitor safety programs including safety inspections, responses to workplace accidents, hazard communication programs and fit testing programs.
• Partner with SES Manager to update and maintain the Emergency Preparedness Plans.
• Ensure completion of Incident Reports, daily shift reports and responses to calls for service.
• Assist in hiring, training, coaching, counseling of employees; establish schedules, reviews and approves timesheets, completes performance evaluations.
• Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct and indirect reports.
