Job summary

The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living in North Bethesda, Maryland, is hiring a Security and Emergency Services (SES) Officer to implement the SES Program under supervision. You will patrol the community, staff the gatehouse as needed, and respond to non-emergency service calls to maintain resident safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in security preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior patrols of the buildings and grounds.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance.
• Receive non-emergency service calls and respond promptly and appropriately.
• Assist in community emergencies such as fires, floods, severe weather, hazardous materials incidents, bomb threats, and evacuations.
• Document visitors, vendors, and staff and provide direction and proper parking passes.
