Meharry Medical College is seeking a Security Dispatcher to serve as the central communications hub for shift officers and the community on security-related matters. The role requires multitasking across radio, phones, alarms, and information dissemination, with excellent customer service.

The dispatcher maintains incident logs, handles daily crime log information, and coordinates with supervisors, police, and towing services as needed, ensuring accurate data and swift responses.

Qualificações

• Must have clear and concise communication, both oral and written.

Responsabilidades

• Keep a detailed log of all incidents with date, time and pertinent information.
• Download daily information pertaining to crime log and timely warnings.
• Enter information into the dispatch logbook daily as provided.
• Keep the dispatch log current by removing old information daily.
• Access information on the O drive and provide to Shift Supervisor and/or mobile officer when requested.
• Keep count of keys and the time/date of keys issued.
• Record the correct name, date and time when keys are checked in/out.
• Call Nashville Metro Police Department for reportable crimes.
• Call for towing service when instructed by the shift supervisor or higher rank.
• Perform other daily dispatcher tasks as needed.
