Job summary

NOLA Protection Group is seeking a detail-oriented Security Dispatcher to support daily monitoring and incident response. You will handle inbound calls, monitor patrol units, and log field incident reports while coordinating with field personnel and clients.

Availability includes mid-day peak shifts, evenings, and weekends, with 24–32 hours per week across 3–4 shifts. This is a non-management, full-time/part-time position. Experience with dispatch software and LSBPSE Guard Card would help.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations, dispatch, or emergency call center is a strong plus.
• Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners (LSBPSE) Guard Card/Registration is a major plus; candidate must be eligible to obtain registration.
• Proficiency with dispatch/scheduling software, basic database entry, and multiline phone systems.
• Clear verbal communication and precise written record-keeping under fast-paced conditions.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming calls, emergency alerts, and field check-ins accurately.
• Dispatch field officers, patrol units, and supervisors using computer-aided dispatch and scheduling software.
• Monitor real-time GPS tracking and officer status systems to ensure shift compliance and safety.
• Provide secondary dispatch support during high-volume peak call windows
• Complete detailed shift handoff logs and incident summaries before shift transitions.
• Coordinate escalation procedures with client management or emergency services as required.

In this role, you will handle inbound calls, monitor active patrol units, process field incident reports, and maintain communications across field personnel, supervisory staff, and clients. This position requires flexible availability, including mid-day peak shifts, evenings, and weekend coverage.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Security operations, dispatch, or emergency call center experience is a strong plus.
• Licensing: Active Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners (LSBPSE) Guard Card / Registration is a major plus. (Candidate must be eligible to obtain state registration if not currently registered).

Availability

Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, afternoon/evening shifts, and peak mid-day hours.

Work Schedule Expectation

• Hours: 24 to 32 hours per week across 3 to 4 shifts.
