Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Emergency Call Intake for our Newark, DE location. You will monitor alarms, coordinate responses and maintain clear communication with onsite teams and emergency services at a financial institution site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by following site procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor and coordinate calls, alarms, radio traffic, and other communications from the dispatch center and route requests to staff.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency services.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident reports, and records related to security operations.
• Monitor security systems (cameras, access control, alarms) and report concerns to designated personnel.
