Job summary

Northwest Independent School District is seeking a Temporary Safety and Security Dispatch to oversee ID badge issuance, access fob management, and video monitoring. You will support the district’s safety operations, perform campus audits, and coordinate communications with district leadership.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience in dealing with staff, students, and the public.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years supporting supervisors.
• Ability to organize and direct detailed operations.
• Effective communication with the public, staff, students, and admins.
• Ability to communicate with district administrators and School Board members.
• Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Customer service oriented and calm in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Process district ID badges for staff and contractors.
• Manage access fob control and set up schedules.
• Create access reports and monitor violation activity.
• Assist with campus audits and 911/ReadyOp alerts.
• Provide clerical support and maintain confidentiality.
• Schedule officers and coordinate with event staff.
