Job summary

International SOS is seeking a Security Director for the US Central region. This remote role, based in the Houston area, will lead security strategy, drive growth for health security offerings, and advise clients while coordinating with cross‑functional teams across the company.

The role requires expert knowledge in security risk management, strong communication and writing skills, and the ability to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with advanced writing ability.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in security, politics, international relations, law enforcement, or related field.
• Experience in security consulting, risk management, or operations.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in diverse cultures.
• Willingness to travel 35% regional and some international travel.

Responsibilities

• Support and drive commercial growth strategies in US Central.
• Act as subject matter expert during complex opportunities (bids, tenders, RFPs).
• Collaborate with Marketing and Content teams for digital solutions demos.
• Represent International SOS in professional forums and media in US Central.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and be a trusted advisor.
• Participate in association events and build peer networks.
• Be prepared to be seconded to the Philadelphia Security Centre up to one week per quarter.
