Job summary

Confidential Jobs is seeking a Director of Security Operations for the Northeast. This senior role leads a large, multi-site security operation, driving performance, staffing, KPI achievement, training, and compliance across locations.

You will report to the Vice President and travel up to 80% while remaining remote when not on-site. The position emphasizes executive communication, strong analytical skills, and the ability to partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, and Finance to optimize service

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-site security operations.
• Ability to lead through managers and field leadership.
• Experience supporting business reviews, site visits, and issue resolution.
• Experience managing KPIs, staffing, labor, overtime, compliance, and SLAs.
• Strong analytical and root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Executive-level communication with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel ~80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational execution across the assigned multi-site portfolio or geographic footprint.
• Lead through Regional Performance Managers, Site Managers, and field leadership to establish accountability.
• Own operational KPI performance, including staffing and fill rate, open posts/NBOT, overtime, payroll performance, schedule integrity, training completion, compliance, and other measures.
• Identify performance trends, assess root causes, develop sustainable solutions, and drive corrective action through the operational leadership team.
• Maintain relationships with client stakeholders, participate in operational reviews and site visits, communicate performance, and ensure client concerns are resolved.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Workforce/Fusion, Human Resources, Training & Development, Finance, Technology, and other support functions to remove barriers and support execution.
• Ensure consistent execution of standards across all locations.
• Drive operational readiness for new-site launches, expansions, transitions, and service hour changes.
• Coach and develop operational leaders, identify high-potential talent, and support succession planning.
• Serve as the senior operational escalation point below the Vice President, escalating when appropriate.
• Monitor labor utilization, overtime, payroll performance, and other financial indicators in partnership with Finance.
