Job summary

ASRC Federal Cyber is seeking a Security Coordinator to support a Navy contract at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA. You will oversee information security, physical security, OPSEC, and SCI programs while ensuring compliance with DoD policies.

This on-site role requires a TS/Secret clearance with SCI eligibility within 18 months, a Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and train staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3 years of experience
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance or Secret with SCI eligibility within 18 months
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform physical security assessments
• On-site in-person position
• Effective written and verbal communication with government formats and reports
• Knowledge of Lenel IDS, Scattered Castles, DISS/ISS/SIMS, and related security software

Responsibilities

• Oversee Information Security Programs
• Serve as classified control point for security operations
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Coordinate 24/7 security support scheduling
• Identify space and security needs for meetings
• Develop and deliver security training and education
• Review and approve timecards
• Conduct derivative classification and marking
• Support NATO, CNWDI, RD/FRD, and SCI programs
• Conduct security education classes and audits
• Investigate security violations and prepare preventive-action reports
• Assign daily tasks to team
• Fulfill other duties per Statement of Work
