Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A artifacts, perform continuous monitoring tasks, and conduct system testing to secure critical systems.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, DoD 8570 IAT II/III certification when acting as ISSO/ISSE, and a background in Navy combat systems. Expect a strong emphasis on security engineering and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• IAT Level II or III certification as DoD 8570.01 or successor when acting as ISSO/ISSE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or closely related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity A&A artifacts.
• Document a system from a Cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel, and Visio.
• Apply STIGs and DISA guidance to systems.
• Perform vulnerability testing with ACAS and other IA tools.
• Lead ISSO activities and act as focal point for security matters.
• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policies, and risk mitigation plans.
