Job summary

Hollywood Park is seeking a Security Specialist at YouTube Theater to support event security operations and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff in Inglewood, CA. The role partners with the Security Manager and contracted personnel to implement procedures and respond to incidents across events.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years in live entertainment security, and proficiency with MS Office and security software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant security experience, preferably within a live entertainment venue, stadium, arena, or other large-scale event environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office or Google Office applications, including familiarity with security management systems and software applications.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, remain composed under pressure, and communicate effectively during routine operations and emergency situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and address sensitive matters professionally.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of a 24/7, 365-day operation, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal business partners, contracted security personnel, and law enforcement to support event security operations.
• Respond to and assist in resolving security incidents and escalated concerns, exercising sound judgment and communicating with management as appropriate.
• Utilize facility security systems and technology to support security operations and incident response.
• Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports and situational reports to support security deployment and risk management.
• Maintain an inventory of security equipment and supplies and assist with procurement and training as needed.
