Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Security Control Room operator to manage the master console, paging and communication systems, and assist with emergency responses.

You will monitor cameras, respond to service requests, issue badges, and dispatch personnel to incidents, while maintaining accurate shift reports and adherence to safety protocols. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in customer service or 1 year in security, and comfort with data entry and MS

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• 2+ years of customer service or 1 year security related experience.
• Experience in data entry and working in emergency situations and fast pace stressful environment.
• Some experience with computer systems, including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel etc.), with some experience maintaining records, preferred.
• Proven performance in earlier role.

Responsibilities

• Provide institution-wide flawless customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues or complaints (e.g., issuance of personnel badges and hangtags).
• Act as a communication specialist during emergency situations (e.g., Fire, Severe Weather, 911 Calls).
• Coordinate with Security Management in the preliminary and follow-up investigation of complaints.
• Maintain daily reports & records and provide written incident reports on all activities during their given shift (e.g., offenses, disruptions).
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet goals and objectives of the department and institution.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Consistently meet job expectations, adhere to policies, and deliver quality work while applying. St. Jude values and principles.
