Job summary

P-11 SECURITY is seeking a Senior Information Security professional in Colorado Springs to perform RMF-based assessments, advise on authorization issues, and oversee security controls across SAP, SCI, and collateral environments. You will coordinate with government owners, prepare SARs, and drive action plans to address vulnerabilities while maintaining strict clearance requirements.

The role requires 5–7 years in IS security, DoD 8570.01-M certifications within 6 months, and a Top-Secret

Qualifications

• 5–7 years related experience in IS security.
• 3+ years in SAP, SCI or Collateral IS security.
• Experience as ISSO and ISSM.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field (4 years).
• Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IA Technician III or IAM I within 6 months.
• Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• Eligibility for access to SAP information.
• Willingness to submit to Counterintelligence polygraph.
• Must regularly lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IS security program policy and SAP network integration.
• Assess ISs using RMF per JSIG.
• Advise ISO, IDO, PSO, and AO on assessment issues.
• Evaluate authorization packages for AO/DAO.
• Determine threats and vulnerabilities; suggest safeguards.
• Define impact levels for Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.
• Prepare SAR for Authorization boundary.
• Create POA&Ms for weaknesses.
• Review security docs and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate with AO/DAO on authorization.
• Assess changes to boundaries and mission needs.
• Review sanitization procedures per government guidance.
• Assist with compliance inspections and security incidents.
• Ensure SDLC phases are addressed; evaluate hardware/software security impact.
• Evaluate Continuous Monitoring Plans.
• Represent customer on inspection teams.
