Job summary

RedTrace Technologies is seeking a Security Control Assessor II to perform RMF-based assessments of IS security controls for collateral, SCI, and SAP environments at Peterson SFB, CO.

The role requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD 8570.01-M IA Manager II readiness; you will prepare SARs/POA&Ms and coordinate with government security officials through authorization processes.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience (4 years)
• Minimum of four(4) years’ experience in SAP, SCI or Collateral Information Systems (IS) Security
• Prior performance in the role of ISSO, ISSM, SCA
• Must meet position and certification requirements for DoD 8570.01-M IA Manager Level II
• Must be able to regularly lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of IS security program policy with focus on SAP integration
• Assess ISs using RMF per JSIG guidance and advise on issues to ISO/IDO/PSO/DAO/AO
• Evaluate Authorization packages and recommend to AO/DAO for authorization
• Assess IS threats and vulnerabilities to determine additional safeguards
• Advise Government on impact levels for CIA
• Prepare SAR and POA&M for each Authorization Boundary
• Provide written recommendations for security authorization to Government
• Submit security authorization package to AO/DAO and discuss recommendations
• Assess changes to Authorization boundaries and operating environment
• Review sanitization and clearing procedures per Government policy
• Assist Government with security incidents and ensure corrective measures
• Ensure SDLC phases are addressed by organization
• Evaluate hardware/software for security impact on boundaries
• Evaluate effectiveness of Continuous Monitoring Plans
• Represent customer on inspection teams
