Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Security Control Assessor (SCA) I to perform comprehensive assessments of security controls within IS environments, including SAP/SCI/Sensitive deployments, to ensure proper implementation, operation, and authorization. The role emphasizes RMF and JSIG guidance and requires collaboration with ISO, IDO, PSO, and AO/DAO.

Qualifications

• 9+ years related experience; or 5+ years related experience AND Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years).
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in SAP, SCI or Collateral Information Systems (IS) Security and the implementation of regulations identified in the description of duties.
• Prior performance in the role of ISSO and ISSM.

Responsibilities

• Perform oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of IS security program policy; special emphasis on SAP network infrastructure.
• Perform assessment of ISs using RMF methodology per JSIG guidance.
• Advise key security stakeholders on assessment and authorization issues.
• Evaluate Authorization packages and make recommendations for authorization.
• Evaluate IS threats and vulnerabilities to determine necessary safeguards.
